Flourish With A Bling October Sketch

                                                Growing Up Fast
I did this layout for FWAB's October sketch challenge. I have kept to the sketch and used FWAB flourishes.

I did this layout for Angies October sketch. I didn't read the instructions properly at first, to think of the colours used so I had to rethink my plans and this is what I came up with. I'm happy with the finished layout. http://scrapnartjourney.blogspot.com/2011/10/october-sketch-challenge-with-twist.html

This is my layout for Dizzy Izzy's October sketch on facebook. I tried to use up some of my scraps and I think it turned out quite well. Hopefully my friends will like it as the one with the most likes/views will be the winner at the end of the month.

                                                      Digging For Yabbies
This is my attempt at the inspiration challenge for October. I tried to stick to the colour scheme but it wasn't easy. I found it really hard to put the colours together. I wanted to use this photo of the girls and their granddad digging for yabbies, when they stayed with us. Mackenzie wanted to go fishing so we took them to the beach to dig for yabbies and Kenz and granddad caught a nice flathead out in the gutters. http://scrapwithv.blogspot.com/2011/10/october-inspiration-challenge.html

                                                     School Photo
I did this layout for scrapwithv's October sketch. It turned out pretty good. I used portrait photos instead of the landscape views as in the sketch, so I did a bit of filling in with the flourish and the vines and I'm happy with it. http://scrapwithv.blogspot.com/2011/10/october-sketch-challenge.html

scrapwithv Inspiration Challenge Sept 2011

                                                  Sunshine, Lolipops and Rainbow
This is my effort for the inspiration challenge over at scrapwithv. We were to draw inspiration from a picture of plates on and this is what I came up with, lots of circles. The title is from a song but I only had 1 rainbow so I made it singular instead of plural, with an s.

scrapwithv September 1st sketch challenge

                                                                    Mr Maker
This is my layout for the September 1st sketch at scrapwithv. I didn't think I would have time to do any layouts this month as I'm sharing the babysitting of my 3 granddaughters with their other grandma while the parents are off overseas having a good time. I rushed to get this done last night before I pick the girls up, and I'm quite happy with the result. http://scrapwithv.blogspot.com/2011/09/its-september.html
